I run a one-person window cleaning company based in Port Saint Lucie, serving homeowners, property managers and businesses throughout St. Lucie and Martin Counties.
How I got here
Before KD Window Cleaning existed, I spent sixteen years cleaning windows for other local companies across the Treasure Coast — long enough to learn what careful work actually looks like. In 2021, that experience became my own business: one truck, one squeegee kit, and a simple idea — show up when you say you will, do careful work, and treat people well. Now going on my 7th year in business, and with more than 20 years on the glass overall, that idea has not changed much. What has changed is the equipment. Purified water systems, water-fed poles and proper ladders let me reach second-story and hard-access glass safely, without leaning anything against your gutters.
Most of my work now comes from customers I have cleaned for year after year, and from the neighbors they send my way. That is the part I am proudest of.
Four things I will not cut corners on.
Kindness
Friendly at the door, respectful in the house, patient with questions. Pets and kids included.
Care
Drop cloths down, screens labelled, landscaping worked around rather than trampled.
Honesty
If glass has hard-water etching or scratches, I tell you before I clean, not after.
Finish
No streaks, no drips down the wall, no dirty water left on the sill. The detail is the job.
